Wheatlyn Eyecare Welcome to The Eyecare Alliance, a union of two independent optometry practices with a mission to provide the most comprehensive and advanced eye health and vision care to the residents of greater central Pennsylvania.

The eye care professionals in each office are dedicated to providing the most complete examination and vision services with exceptional customer service and individual care. Our staff is highly experienced and knowledgeable in all areas of vision care and believes in the value of preventative care.

In addition to glasses, contact lenses, sunglasses and lasik consultations we have many new technologically advanced procedures which ensure that our patients receive the absolute best care in an atmosphere of caring and personal touch. Our eye doctors detect and treat eye diseases such as diabetes, glaucoma, keratoconus, dry eye, corneal dystrophies, age-related macular degeneration and urgent care services such as the removal of foreign bodies and treatment of all varieties of red eyes and/or infections.

Dr. Leitzel
Introducing Dr. Leiitzel

We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Andrew Leitzel to our team of doctors. Dr. Letizel was born and raised in central Pennsylvania. He graduated with clinical honors from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In 2009 he was awarded the Young Optometrist Of The Year by the Central PA Optometric Society. For the past 8 years he has practiced in a large ophthalmology practice providing primary optometry services including comprehensive eye health exams, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma disease management, dry eye management, medical treatment of eye infections and contact lens fittings.
